These two have been together since Bucky was born, 31 years ago. This is the kind of relationship I love to see between horse and human. I've never had a horse of my own, and have also never understood the ability to buy and sell horses, as I couldn't imagine doing that with my dogs and cats. Certainly there are occasions when it is necessary, however I appreciate knowing someone who has horses in her life til death do them part. It was hard for my friend to ask for this photo shoot as it felt to her as if it signaled the nearing end, and she did not want to lose Bucky without having photos to remember him by... This kind of photo shoot also means so much to me.
